ND I See It Now x VF Chickadee

Every year we eagerly anticipate the arrival of Chick's baby.  This mare has a 100% track record of producing foals that have exactly what it takes to be a performer.  From Rolla, North Dakota to Wyoming, Texas and even Northwest Canada, her offspring are adored and have made their way into fantastic performance homes.  A fan favorite for sure!

VF Chickadee was shown by Marne Loosenort before her career was unfortunately cut short.  A daughter of Eddie Stinson, the fastest standing son of Dash Ta Fame, and out of Sticks An Stones daughter this mare has a power packed pedigree.  Crossed on ND I See It Now, this baby is sure to follow suite and be a standout in any arena. 

We purchased Austi from Terry Moody in 2015 as a five year old off the track.  Our goal was to breed her, but after riding her we decided to put her on the pattern.  In 2016 she and our daughter Camryn won the Richardton Jr High Rodeo.  Then, in 2017, Jenny and Austi won the ND NBHA 1D State Champion.  From there she went on to win WPRA money with both Britany Diaz and our daughter, Shae Ann.  In 2019, Jason finally got his chance to breed her to High On Corona.  She went on to have 3 foals, all by HOC.  2 stud colts that were sold to rodeo homes and then finally a filly, retained by ND Bar Quarter Horses.

After raising three babies, Austi went back to competition for three more years, remaining sound throughout.  During that time, she won jackpots, Jr High, High school and Amateur rodeos.  We have finally decided to retire her for good and her only job now is raising more awesome babies like herself!

This will be her first foal by someone other than High On Corona, and we are very confident Austi crossed on Viz won’t disappoint!

TS Dashing Frost, a finished 1 D Barrel Horse, is also a half sister to  “Custer” / French First Watch, the 2015 AQHA Barrel Horse of the Year.   The full brother to this cross resides in Texas and they LOVE him!
